Hi! My name is Ms. Franzi. I grew up in Germany where I was privately taught classical music on piano. Later on I taught myself the guitar. After traveling the world, working and living as a musical freelancer in different countries, I settled in NYC and became a music teacher in various pre-schools and a private teacher for children all over the city.

Hi! My name is Dewey, and I’m a graduating master’s student in Songwriting at NYU(25’ Spring). As a versatile music creator, I write, produce, and release music, and regularly arrange and perform live shows. I sing and play guitar, ukulele, and keyboard, and have enjoyed teaching and performing in a variety of settings. I speak English, Mandarin, and-of course-the universal language of music! I look forward to inspiring your child to explore and enjoy music with creativity and confidence.

Hi! I am Simon, I am a versatile multi-instrumentalist and dedicated music educator who graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (Australia). With over 35 years of teaching experience, I offer private lessons in drum kit, percussion, guitar, ukulele, recorder, clarinet, beginner bass guitar and piano, both in person and online. It is my main goal to make lessons informal, fun, and engaging. I often use songs that students are familiar with to maintain their interest and incorporate music theory and a strong rudimentary foundation as well. My aim is to foster a greater enthusiasm and love for music in each student, tailoring lessons to their unique needs and interests.

Some of my past students have gone on to become professional musicians, Berklee College of Music attendees, and an Australia’s Got Talent finalist.

Hi my name is Brenda, I graduated from the Conservatory of Music in Torino, Italy with a Degree in Music History and obtained a Music Degree at Hunter College after I moved to New York City. 
Besides performing in various piano competitions as a soloist and collaborating with chamber ensembles and opera singers, I always enjoyed fostering a love for music with infants and Elementary School students. I teach music in English and Italian.

Hi! I am Katelynn Cherry, an opera singer and master’s student in Vocal Performance at the Manhattan School of Music. I’m especially passionate about classical music and opera, I teach all vocal genres—including musical theatre and pop—to students of all ages and experience levels.

My goal is to make singing a fun, engaging, and empowering experience where students feel confident exploring music and discovering their unique voice. I bring creativity, versatility, and patience to every lesson, tailoring my teaching to each student’s individual needs and goals.

Whether you're preparing for auditions, building vocal technique, or simply singing for fun, I’ll help you develop a strong foundation in healthy singing habits, breath support, and expressive interpretation. I strive to create a welcoming, encouraging space where every student can thrive and find joy in music.
