“ Ms. Franzi was the music teacher for five years at the Village Preschool Center, where I was the director. We had such a blessing in Ms. Franzi. The children loved her and so did the parents. Her mutual passion for music and children was obvious in everything she planned. She introduced the children to different types of music and musical instruments. Her lessons were always entertaining, engaging, and age appropriate. Ms. Franzi also ran a toddler program “Grown up and Me”. She is able to engage children of any age. It is always a pleasure to be around Ms. Franzi and watch the children having so much fun.
I strongly recommend Franzi, without any reservation, for a music teaching position and it is my firm belief that Ms.Franzi would be a valuable addition to your child’s education. “

“Miss Franzi has been an incredible gift to our family.”
My son has been taking piano lessons with her for five years—since he was just three and a half—and it’s amazing to see how much he’s grown. Under Miss Franzi’s guidance, he hasn’t just learned to play piano—he’s developed a true love for music and making music. She has this brilliant way of weaving together classical pieces, Beatles tunes, and Disney favorites, which keeps him inspired and excited to learn.
Beyond piano, she’s even taught him how to record his own music using GarageBand—something he now loves to experiment with on his own. One of the biggest benefits I’ve seen is her ability to teach him how to focus deeply on one thing at a time—an incredibly valuable skill far beyond music.
We’re so grateful for her patience, creativity, and the joy she brings to every lesson.”

For the past two years, Ms. Franzi has been an incredible part of our PKA community, bringing music, joy, and energy into our classrooms. Working with children ages 2 to 5, she has introduced our students to the fundamentals of music, teaching them about tempo, rhythm, and a variety of instruments in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate.
Ms. Franzi has a remarkable ability to connect music to the themes and lessons being taught in the classroom, enriching the children’s overall learning experience. Whether it's a fun sing-along, a movement-based activity, or preparing for a big performance, she brings creativity, enthusiasm, and an infectious energy that lights up the room.
Her performances at our holiday and end-of-year shows have been true highlights, showcasing not just her talent, but the growth and confidence she inspires in our students. We feel so lucky to have had Ms. Franzi as part of our team, her passion for music and her love for teaching shine through in everything she does.

We’ve been welcoming Ms. Franzi into our home since spring 2020, when she led a toddler music class via Zoom that engaged my then almost 2-year-old and got the whole family singing and dancing. When we were able to see each other in person at preschool, she would encourage my son’s song requests (some which she learned to play especially for him) — and now, for the past two years, she has been teaching him piano (and most recently guitar) in our home.
Ms. Franzi Day is one we look forward to each week, as she often comes bearing sheet music she thinks my son will enjoy and games to help him hone aspects of music theory. To Ms. Franzi, the most important part of learning an instrument (whether it is piano or guitar) is that her students love playing and that music is something they feel and enjoy. That is what makes her, as both a musician and a teacher, truly resonate with children and their families.
I am so impressed by how much my son has learned from Ms. Franzi, how she has nurtured his talent, and how comfortable he is at the keys — and I recommend her wholeheartedly to families who want to give their children the gift of music education.
